Due to instabilities, insufficient features and various other reasons I do often switch my music player. My playlists usually do rely heavily on the rating I gave my music. Unfortunately this data is usually kept within the players own database. So I wrote this little script to exchange this metadata between the different players.
01/06/2009 - Inital upload.
Multi-way synchronization of meta-data (currently only rating and playcount) between:
- Amarok 2
- Banshee
- Exaile
- Rhythmbox
I case of conflicting entries the one with the last modification date overwrites the others.
